About Us
Our Children, Our Inspiration: Like a fingerprint, every child is different and absolutely individual. It’s fascinating to watch as their personalities form. In no time, they develop their own preferences, characteristics and personality traits that may be distinctly different from our own! Kids love to have input about what is important to them, from the clothes they wear to the games they play and the food they eat. Perhaps most importantly, children care about the look and feel of their rooms. When children are very small, they need the help of their parents’ great taste. To whatever degree possible, allowing a child to participate in the decision-making process creates more excitement and lets them know their opinions are important. It’s important to remember that infancy to five years of age is when our children are most impressionable. Although we can’t always be sure of the types of personalities our kids are developing at such a young age, you can be certain that their environments play a large role in their emotional development and stability. About the President/Founder:
In addition to Lauren’s interests in education and theatre, she also has a background in child psychology and creating original art. This background uniquely qualified her to create With a Brush of Love. Lauren researched the effects of color on emotion, and interviewed psychologists who specialize in the field of study. For Lauren, the opportunity to combine the unique fun of original designs with behavior management through color was an exciting idea.
